UMMAT DAILY ■ Two volunteers from "Rumah Kita" were beaten by a civil servant who works as an elementary school teacher in Saptamarga Village, Sukamaju District, North Luwu Regency.
Kapolsek Sukamaju, Ipda Aswar, when confirmed by the media crew, confirmed that the Sukamaju police officers secured civil servants.
"We have secured a civil servant, MS (57) who is suspected of assaulting two youths in Saptamarga Village," said the Head of Police to the media crew, on Saturday (28/11/2020) Night.
Ipda Aswar continued, we secure the perpetrator because he was suspected of mistreating SP (22) and AM (19) who had arranged for cars to go in and out of the mine, in order to load land heap.
"But suddenly the perpetrator came over to the victim and got angry and said that many cars passed here and I did not get any benefits," he concluded.
The police chief added that the victim had defended himself, and said that it was not only their car that was passing by.
"When the victim made a defense, the perpetrator immediately hit by using a fist on the head of the victim SP, 2 (two) times and also to the victim, AM on the head and face repeatedly using hands / fists. So with this second incident. the victim objected and reported this incident at the Sukamaju Police on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at around 19.00 WITA, "explained the police chief.
"After receiving the reports from the two victims, we immediately secure the perpetrator to carry out further investigations," he concluded.
Meanwhile, one of the "Rumah Kita Team" from Bone-bone District, Kismianto, said that the two victims of the beatings were volunteers for the "Rumah Kita" candidate pair.
"The two of them are volunteers from candidate pairs Thahar Rum and Rahmat Laguni in the Sukamaju area," he said via cell phone.
