"From residents' reports, recently a herd of monkeys has appeared that often descend into residential areas and disturb residents," said Yogi Sopandi, a Cibadak Damkar officer, today (28/11).
Yogi said, there were about four monkeys and suddenly appeared. The monkey is thought to have come from the hungry forests and even entered the village.
"The monkey came from the forest, maybe because the monkey was hungry, then he entered the residential area. Until now, we and our members continue to hunt the monkey until we get it, ”he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Nagrak Police, Iptu Teddi Armayadi confirmed to the media crew that he had sent his members to participate in capturing the monkey herd.
"Yes, I have sent members to help catch monkeys which often disturb residents," he concluded. (**)
