    Anies Baswedan Wins Most Popular Governor Award in Digital Media 2020

    UMMAT DAILY ■ The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan won awards in the Indonesian Public Relations Award. The DKI Provincial Government won the award as the most popular Provincial Government in Digital Media 2020, while Anies won the Most Popular Governor category award in Digital Media 2020.

    The governor uploaded this achievement through his Instagram account. Anies wrote the caption, "Alhamdulilah, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is the Winner of the Indonesian Public Relations Award for the Most Popular Provincial Government Category in Digital Media 2020 and the Winner of the Indonesian Public Relations Award for the Most Popular Governor Category in Digital Media 2020."

    According to Anies, the 2020 Indonesian Public Relations Award (AHI) is a competition for the performance of government public relations (GPR) in Ministries, Agencies, Local Government, BUMN, BUMN and BUMD's children throughout Indonesia. AHI 2020 is a barometer of the highest achievement of the Department / Bureau / Public Relations Division / Kominfo Service).

    The overall award is based on the highest number of positive exposure assessments in online media. Specifically for this category, Indonesian PR in collaboration with Kazee Digital Indonesia has monitored the news on hundreds of Ministries / Institutions / Local Governments / BUMN / BUMD in 6,831 local online media, 904 national online media, and 2,218 international online media, and social media throughout the 1st semester of January. -30 September 2020.

    "The Covid-19 pandemic is indeed full of challenges, but it also opens up opportunities, especially how we can interact through digital media," said Anies.

    According to him, today there can be thousands of people participating in an event, without the need to rent a building, all of them are virtual, we all have the equipment, we don't buy new tools. The laptop is the same, the cellphone is the same, but we only really take advantage of the technology now. We want to make it easier for people to take advantage of the opportunities for developing digital interactions.

    Anies also expressed his gratitude for the appreciation of Indonesian Public Relations, this is the result of the hard work of the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Informatics and Statistics Office.
